Julia Desmond moved to Aspen, CO over 10 years ago, much preferring small town mountain life to life in the big cities. Born a “natural healer”, Julia spent many years in India and Asia, experiencing spirituality and the local life of many different cultures. In 2006, through a series of synchronicities, Julia had a significant “awakening” with a new healing modality called Deeksha. The moment she received her first Deeksha energy transfer, all of her “mind chatter” stopped completely and an eternal silence filled her mind. Such was the power and consciousness shift of this awakening that Julia immediately went back to India, her spiritual home of over 8 years, to train at the Oneness University to become a Deeksha Giver.
Once completing this course in 2006, Julia brought the Oneness Deeksha back to her home town of Aspen and introduced it to the community. Being the first Deeksha Giver in the Aspen area, she has been busy the past 3 ½ years traveling throughout the Roaring Fork Valley putting on weekly Deeksha programs and also organizing much bigger Oneness events.
Thanks to an incredibly receptive local and tourist community in the Aspen area, the Deeksha has now become well known. Julia has also inspired many other community members to partake in the Deeksha process in India, Fiji, and the US (the Oneness Awakening Course) to become Deeksha Givers. There are now over 45 Deeksha Givers valley-wide! Each one is a clear vehicle for divine grace to come through, helping to raise the consciousness of the planet during the shift of the ages! One such person was her mom Sandy Fuller, also a “natural healer” and 20 year Aspen resident. When Sandy returned from the course in India, they co-founded the “Aspen Deeksha Group”, a group promoting self-mastery, empowerment, and awakening. Both of them have since been back to the Oneness University many times to continue their education and go deeper into the Oneness Deeksha Process.
Julia and Sandy have recently attended the intense 10 day "Trainer's Process" at the Oneness University in Southern India and are now "Oneness Trainers". They are fully empowered to offer the "Oneness Awakening" courses, initiate new Deeksha Givers, and hold the sacred Mukthi Deeksha ceremony throughout the Valley and beyond.
Julia and Sandy are also “First Wave Indigos”, who have attended “Indigo Training” in Boulder to help awaken, empower, and guide other Indigo adults and children.
They have found that the Deeksha and Indigo energies are tools for accelerated transformation, manifestation, and awakening into Oneness. Their work takes them all over the world; from villages in India to the business world in the US; and everyone in between!
In their spare time, Julia can be seen hiking with her husband and 2 dogs throughout the Aspen area while Sandy is riding her horses with the Cowboy.
